Watching Trump Unravel

January 15, 2018

Donald Trump delivers his first State of the Union address January 30. It promises to be an epic fact-free brag-fest about his omnipotence and imaginary “accomplishments.”

We’ll get to assess how his mental deterioration is progressing. Trump’s falling apart so fast, last week he couldn’t resist dissing most of black civilization as “shithole countries.”

Republicans limply called his remarks “unfortunate” and “unhelpful.” A few even accused Democratic Senator Dick Durbin, who heard them firsthand and reported them, of lying. That makes zero sense. Durbin was the only Democrat there. Do they really think he’s so stupid, he’d falsely attribute obscenities to Trump and expect to get away with it?

Basically, Trump has thrown Republicans into a deep shithole they’ll never dig themselves out of, because Trump is incapable of salvaging this situation or his presidency.

The AP reported Trump called friends to gauge reaction to his shithole comments. You know he’s scheming some way to top himself now, so let me offer a suggestion for the State of the Union, when the eyes of the country and much of the world will be on him.

During his closing remarks, Trump should quietly drop his pants behind the podium. Then he should fill both his hands with fresh piles of his own steaming shit. Letting loose with a few contemptuous farts while he does it would be a nice touch and disgust Nancy Pelosi.

Then Trump should turn around and throw the shit into the faces of Mike Pence and Paul Ryan, sitting right behind him.

He would wrap up by turning back to face Congress with a self-satisfied smirk. “See? I told you. I can do ANYTHING! And you STILL support me!”

It would be no worse than Trump jerking off on Twitter, jizzing on whichever person or group he’s singled out to bully that day.

Other leaders now step over and around Trump like the orange heap of roadkill he’s made himself by pulling out of every meaningful global initiative.

For the orgasmic flash of godhood Trump gets in those brief moments when he renounces NAFTA, the Paris Climate Accord, the TPP, the UN, NATO, and every other positive collaboration of mankind, he renders himself more useless in the long run.

The world moves on without the U.S. while Trump plays in his little oval office, pretending he’s president by scribbling his name with big black Sharpies.

Republicans have a death wish in persisting to kowtow to the 30-35% comprising Trump’s “base.” Yes, “base” is the perfect word to describe the deliberately ignorant, racist people he attracts.

I’d give them a pass for voting for Trump, but after this past year, if they still refuse to admit that their bloated, piggy-eyed, deranged man-baby is shitting all over civility and decency, they’re dead to me.

My only comfort is a feeling that the end of Trump’s reign of terror will come this year.

Once Mueller starts fingering Don Jr. and Jared Kushner, Trump’s last mental gasket will blow and we’ll see him swinging naked from the chandeliers, bellowing “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

Trump claims Mueller has no reason to question him. It’s been said that Mueller’s got Trump’s taxes, and he knows that if Trump is breathing, he’s lying. What better reinforcement for charges of money laundering and obstruction of justice than perjury? If Trump testifies, perjury’s a slam-dunk.

And if Mueller’s investigation drags on, we’ve got the November midterm elections to look forward to. Republicans who continue enabling Trump are going down in flames. Bring marshmallows.

Once they take back Congress, Democrats will start undoing Trump’s legislative damage and then it’s “Laisser L’Impeachment Rouler!.”

There’s no happy ending here for Trump. He’s toast, and probably has flashes of realizing it whenever he takes a break from kicking over the furniture, trying to escape.

Trying to be a rational, decent American is exhausting right now. But I trust we will be delivered from Donald Trump, his trashy, greedy family, and the duplicitous Republicans who enable them. This evil WILL NOT triumph.

Congress, Face Facts: Trump’s Unhinged

March 22, 2017

While FBI Director James Comey gave damning testimony about Donald Trump’s delusion that Obama wiretapped Trump Tower, Trump couldn’t sit quietly in the wings. He inserted himself into the proceedings by live-tweeting.

Like idiots, the committee immediately read Trump’s ravings and tried to make sense of them. When will they learn that Trump’s tweets represent a petulant baby screaming for attention, and he’ll say anything to get it?

The legislative branch (and the media enabling it) need to be adults and tell Trump he’ll be neither seen nor heard until he’s capable of producing factual, coherent thoughts.

Now that Comey has become more threat than ally, don’t be surprised if Comey gets fired, just like Preet Bharara, the New York City U.S. Attorney Trump wanted to keep at first, but canned when watchdog groups requested investigations into Trump’s conflicts of interest.

Remember when Trump claimed he was so rich he didn’t need/want his $400,000 a year presidential salary? Another lie. He’s getting paid, claiming he’ll donate all to charity at year-end. Wouldn’t it be better to donate every payday so he can tweet about that? Instead, he’s giving himself a year’s float for max profits from investing the salary.

Another drain on taxpayers is Ivanka Trump’s new office in the West Wing. She also gets top security clearance. Why? Because, as an ordinary citizen with no diplomatic experience whatsoever, she must be present whenever Trump meets a head of state.

Can’t we just put a shade on Ivanka’s head and call her a lamp?

Trump, the psychopathic toddler, wreaks havoc every waking moment. He isn’t reforming healthcare, he’s letting Paul Ryan destroy it. Trump’s proposed budget is so spiteful, it’s like he’s personally out to screw every person who voted for him.

And helping Trump sow confusion and chaos is his oil-soaked secretary of state and Putin BFF, Rex Tillerson. Tillerson says he’s fine with a 28% budget cut to his gutted State Department because we’ll have “fewer military conflicts” in future.

Out of the other side of his mouth, Tillerson threatens military action against North Korea.

Trump is obsessed with having more Army men, tanks, and guns to play with, oblivious to the fact that the fortune he blows on pointless military buildup and his stupid border wall, to the exclusion of everything else, will bring down, from the inside out, the country he swore to serve.

You know what other country puts its military first while letting everything else go to hell and its people starve and die? North Korea.

Trump’s approval rating is 37%, yet he can still waste more taxpayer money jetting off to some ignorant pocket of this country where morons will cheer him.

When will they wise up? When black gunk flows from their water taps? When they can’t breathe the brown air? When they get cancer and the only hospital has closed — not that they could afford treatment, because the bulk of their income goes to useless health insurance that covers nothing?

Congress needs to subpoena 10 years of Trump’s tax returns. He’s so terrified of anyone seeing them, they must contain enough conflicts of interest and Russian ties to impeach him a dozen times over.

And once Trump’s ass is good and toasty, Putin can pile on his dirt from Trump’s 2013 Miss Universe Pageant visit to Moscow. It’s the last puzzle piece, and Trump will finally be exposed as even more vile than the bloated, arrogant pussy-grabber we already know he is.

Trump himself is leaving us no choice but to cut short his reign of ignorance and terror. What remains to be seen is how much more damage Congress will let the deranged man-baby inflict on us before it steps in and does the right thing.

GOP Gives Trump No Reason to Change

August 15, 2016

Republican Senator Susan Collins of Maine last week withdrew her support of Donald Trump, based mainly on three incidents: 1) Trump belittled and mocked a disabled reporter, 2) Trump declared American-born federal Judge Gonzalo Curiel unfit to preside over the Trump University trial because he’s of Mexican descent, and 3) Trump verbally pissed all over the Khans, who sacrificed their son in Iraq.

The list of Trump’s attacks and atrocities is growing so long, so fast, nobody can keep up with it. In a series of recent tweets, he called the same media that has given him billions of dollars’ worth of free exposure “disgusting and corrupt.”

I have to agree. I’m disgusted that every news outlet has thoroughly corrupted itself with 24/7 Trump coverage. There’s no escaping him in print, on TV, or online.

Collins wrote…

“I had hoped that we would see a ‘new’ Donald Trump as a general-election candidate — one who would focus on jobs and the economy, tone down his rhetoric, develop more thoughtful policies and, yes, apologize for ill-tempered rants.”

Many other Republicans rue having no sightings of “new” Trump, even though Trump told CNN back in July, “I am what I am.”

What I don’t understand is why anybody ever thought a smart, decent Trump lurked under his offensive bluster. Throughout his public life, Trump has worn his thin-skinned, arrogant narcissism like a Purple Heart.

For him to feign “newness” in any way is to smear lip gloss on his orange head ferret.

Trump’s had 70 years to perfect the waste of human flesh he is. No number of votes will change him. Even if he tried, he’d drop the act under pressure and revert to type, giving us a deluded, paranoid maniac who can’t handle facts, making decisions that affect this country and the world.

Republicans can’t blame Trump for not re-inventing himself. If they had a shred of decency, they’d blame themselves for enabling him to this point. If they ever hope for redemption, they’d kick Trump to the curb today and let Mike Pence take over (not that he’d win, but… any port in a storm).

BONUS: Kathleen Parker is the first columnist I’ve seen to use the “D” word to explain Trump — dementia — which I said back in June. And she does it using some grounded first-hand experience with the effects of brain damage.
